Located in the central highlands of Bali, Villa Atas Awan (translation: villa above the clouds) is the perfect spot for travelers to find absolute solace and plenty of time to relax and rejuvenate. Tranquil and charming, this seven-bedroom property is separated into two villas, featuring private pools and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and rice fields.

Rooms are simply decorated in muted tones, highlighting the beauty of the natural setting through the windows. The cottages are basic, with no air conditioning or fan. The Cloud House, a ski-lodge-style building that houses the larger Sunrise and Sunset suites, offers a large common room and outdoor Jacuzzi for guests to enjoy.

Guests looking for some fun can request Balinese dance shows and traditional Gamelan music performances or take lessons on them. Yoga and cooking classes are also available for an additional charge. Guests should check out the secluded Angseri Hot Springs during their stay as well. Unfortunately, there are no restaurants at the property, but lunch and dinner can be arranged.

Villa Awan Villa is a short drive from the Elephant Safari Park, Lake Batur, and Mount Batur. To the north of the Villa lies a string of volcanoes - Petali, Puung, Adeng, and Batu Karu - while steep hills, rivers, and rice paddies are found to the south.
