I like how this cottage-shaped-like-a-giant-boot actually has shoelaces. See that? Attention to detail. This romantic bed and breakfast cottage is the only accommodation in the 2.4 hectare Jester House Estate. Inside, there is a fireplace, kitchenette, and bathroom with a shower built for two. Up the spiral staircase, there is a queen-sized bed and a Juliet balcony that overlooks the pond and the fragrant gardens. Outside you can relax on the lovely garden furniture surrounded by your grove of hazelnut trees, perfect for more privacy in the mid-afternoon sun.
The rest of the estate is at your disposal with the Jester House Café, which cooks organic food and pours specialist beers. The estate has a stream where tame eels live. You can actually feed them by hand. The extensive permaculture gardens are full of fruit trees and flowers. Much of the constructions are built along with eco principles and use timber and earth from the estate to resemble modern medieval constructs.
