After a successful nationwide campaign, the Idaho Potato Commission has transformed its enormous potato-shaped advertisement into a hotel.
True to the popular slogan, "Go big, or go home," the American state of Idaho proudly showcases its uniquely flavored potatoes in unexpectedly creative ways wherever possible. Idaho takes great pride in its potatoes and even promotes them on vehicle license plates.
The six-ton tuber toured across the United States before settling down in Idaho. The giant hollowed-out potato, made of steel and concrete, is located thirty minutes by car from Boise, and it waits for some adventurous guests to explore it from the inside.

Fed up with the neverending road trip, Wolfe suggested turning the tuber into an unusual property. After two years of interior remodeling and decorating, the Potato Hotel was ready to receive its first guests.
