I have never had a bad time in a yurt. There’s something lovely about the gas lamps, woodburning stove to keep your group warm on the rug-strewn wooden floor. These things aid relaxation in a way that doesn’t require expensive treatments or over-enthusiastic massages. The structure is circular with the fire in the middle so communication is allowed to be free and easy.
Now, these yurts here, also boast a cool-box, kitchen area, and excellent toilet facilities in a separate building nearby. You can pick from a two or four-person yurt or choose the super-luxury option with a dining table and intricately carves lamps. The location is a little quiet campsite near to National Park Dunes of Texel in Holland.
The land contains salt marshes and long grass which allows many rare birds to nest in peace. You can spot the birds or just take a relaxing cycle or ramble around the countryside perhaps saying “ahh” to yourself contentedly.
