Stonefield Villa Resort - Boutique Resort With A Beautiful View Of The Pitons

Location:

Soufriere St. Lucia Central America
LuxuryNature

The Stonefield Villa Resort is located near the town of Soufriere and the Jalousie Plantation Beach and has phenomenal views of the world-famous Pitons, the two volcano peaks.

Stonefield Villa Resort is not only a tropical place to visit but also has a rich history. Stonefield was originally a plantation estate. It used to be a working cocoa plantation rich in tropical fruit trees and vegetable gardens.

Even ancient petroglyphs (rock carvings) were discovered on the property. The rock carvings depict fertility and are said to have been drawn by the Carib Indians. Presumably, this place was the birthplace of the Indians. Today, you can visit the historic landmark, and the resort uses the drawings in its logo.

Since the late 1990s, this historic site has become a luxurious resort.
