A perfect name for one of the most exclusive resorts in the world - Secret Bay is a ten-villa hideaway in the mountainous Caribbean island of Dominica.
The clifftop villas were designed by the famous Venezuelan architect Fruto Vivas and built from sustainable tropical hardwoods, just like its interiors.
The parquettes are made of greenheart trees sourced from Guyana, and the furniture is handcrafted from Dominican red cedar.
Thanks to these efforts, the resort received a sustainability certificate from Green Globe, the leader in sustainable tourism certification.

Six-star boutique hotel
The multi-award winner Caribbean resort claims to have six stars. Not quite as much as seven, but perhaps less of an exaggeration.

Secret Bay is often called the world's best boutique hotel.

The Zing Zing jungle restaurant has insanely good views and a "no menu" concept.

Chef Fábio Fernandes creates stories with the help of edible ingredients to take you on a culinary journey.

The 4-course menus have eye-poppingly colorful dishes that will take more time to photograph than to eat.

Ti-Fey Villa

The airy mountain villas have open decks, private pools, and panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and the surrounding lush greenery.

Zabuco Villa

The on-call concierge, chefs, and guides will treat you as king and queen, but if you prefer to spend time alone, the rainforest villas are spread on Secret Bay's property to maximize privacy.

Ylang Ylang Villa

Spa
The treetop Gommier Spa has treatment rooms fully open on one side facing the Caribbean Sea.

You can get a couple's massage on their twin massage tables.

Yoga
The riverside Bwa Mang Wellness Pavilion offers daily yoga classes to start your day fresh.

One of the resort's most recently added features is a sea-facing lap pool, the Gwiyavye'. It sits on an elevated structure, and a poolside bar offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

You can rent kayaks on the beach from the Zamann Watersports Hut.

During your stay, you can access two paradise beaches: Tibay and Secret Beach. The latter received its name because it's in a sea-cliff cave enclosed by beautiful rock formations.
