Perched over the limestone rock formations of the Pristine Cove in Negril, Rockhouse Hotel is an award-winning Jamaican boutique hotel. The thatched-roofed villas mimicking an African village are lined up at the edge of the volcanic coast. Apart from the large-sized villas, cozy bungalows and studios are offered with a Caribbean island interior style with an abundance of hardwood and stone. Architect Jean-Henri Morin was responsible for the seamless transition between natural and man-made shapes. Eight acres of overwhelmingly green private tropical gardens are surrounding the living spaces. A sixty-foot-long horizon pool overlooking the sea is built in the cliffs, and there are many natural platforms along the cliff's edge to jump to the sea. Great snorkeling spots
You are presented with two top-of-the-class dining onsite options; the Rockhouse Restaurant, lit by fairy lights at night, and the Pushcart Restaurant & Rum Bar with great island dishes and drinks. Along Negril's West End road, there are plenty more independent bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. Nestled in the gardens, there is a spa with three treatment rooms and two cabanas on the cliff edge for a massage with a sea view, a gym, and a yoga room. The yoga sessions are held under the protective roof of the shala, but the sides are open to the Caribbean Sea and the fresh breeze.
