Quinta Dos Moinhos De Sao Filipe - Olive-Happy Wine In The Portuguese Sun

Location:

Setubal Portugal West Europe
Windmill

This unusual hotel is a converted windmill on a Portuguese cliff top. It is set on a large private property just next to a large nature reserve. There are two whitewashed windmills that overlook the swishing sea. Each has modern facilities and you can use the sun terrace and swimming pool with wide-angle views of the sea and hilltops.

The local harbor is bustling with boats and fresh catches of fish are delivered daily to the local taverns and eateries. The region is famous for its wine and cheese. Here, you will find yourself living the Mediterranean lifestyle (before all that nastiness with the banks). Each windmill has room for up to four people, a kitchenette, and a mezzanine floor. The nearby park and nature reserve is perfect for hiking, biking, and spotting rare wildlife.
