HOTELS Hotel Parador De Ronda - Perched On A Cliff

Hotel Parador De Ronda - Perched On A Cliff

Location:

Ronda Spain West Europe
Heritage

Perched on a cliff in the former town hall building, this incredible hotel is a worthy destination in itself. Located in mountainous Ronda, in the south of Spain, Hotel Parador offers unparalleled views of the Tagus River and the 120-meter deep ravine, El Tajo. The stunning landscapes make the outdoor terrace the perfect place for a glass of local Malaga wine while enjoying the sunset.

If the view somehow wasn´t enough for you, you are also surrounded by the Sierra de la Grazalema, Sierra de las Nieves and Los Alcornocales nature reserves, which make for great hiking destinations. The hotel itself is conveniently located just steps away from Ronda’s main attractions, such as the bull ring or Tajo avenue. The jaw-dropping "new" bridge (1793 is new by their standards!) can be seen in some rooms.

The rooms are spacious, elegant and have a charming old-fashioned flair thanks to the wooden floors and heavy curtains. The underground parking is a great bonus if you’re on an Andalusian road trip. You won’t need the car for local exploring, though, as all of Ronda’s sights are accessible by foot, and there is a lot of fantastic wine to be sampled along the way.
