Marriott group's launch of the Moxy brand in Japan signifies a new era in sleek and funky accommodation. Moxy hotels are geared towards fun-loving travelers with their playground-like interiors. The cooperation with the local-based studio Wise Labo resulted in a complete revamp of an 11-story warehouse and showroom in a peaceful part of Osaka into a trendy, 155-room hotel.
Imagine if Ikea was Japanese. That's the type of minimalist but stylish rooms they've created with so many wall hooks to hang your stuff that will make seasoned travelers cry from joy. Between all your hanging items, you'll find a 50-inch to stream your favorite serials. The motion-activated LED lights will guide your way to the nearest emergency exit... I mean bathroom. And it's not just the rooms that come with clever features. Digital nomads will love this place for its cozy nooks and communal areas, as well as for the lightning-fast Wi-Fi.
If you are running low on energy while updating your digital project, a grab-and-go deli full of snacks is open 24 hours a day. Enough of work? Grab a creative cocktail and listen to some chill music at the Moxy Bar & Lounge. What's more, there is a Noodle Station and bar games like table football and darts. How cool is that?
