Located in the center of Austria’s capital, Vienna, this modern hotel is hard to miss with its striking round windows and creative design. Just a three-minute walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral, Hotel Topazz is an “eco-hotel” and is run as efficiently as possible. The interior furnishings are predominantly made from environmental building materials, while the exterior has been described as a “glistening, dark-colored gemstone.”
The design, created by BWM Architekten und Partner, is unconventional and distinctive among Vienna’s historical architecture. Inside, the curved windows serve as comfortably rounded spots for sitting or lounging while you watch the hustle and bustle of the city below. All 32 guest rooms are decorated in cream and sand colors with mahogany paneling, giving the spaces a simple yet rich feel. Newly constructed bathrooms are lined with nickel, chrome, and marble, rounding out the feel of luxury.
The urban-themed Cafe Bar Bloom serves as not only a cafe but a lounge, bar, and restaurant for guests to enjoy as well. The Roof is also a hotspot for guests to enjoy amazing views of the city year-round.
