Shanghai is the center of commerce for Asia. It is rapidly expanding like China’s economy and is home to a staggering 21 million people. It is home to many architectural oddities and unique buildings but this is the only 24-story swimming pool with a glass-bottom I have ever seen. The deep end of this pool is around 70 meters from the ground. The rest of the 30-meter long pool is indoors but for a few moments, you will feel like you are swimming through the air. Your swimming costume comes with a complementary parachute… only joking.

The hotel itself has many modern rooms and business suites. It is situated between Pudong Airport and downtown Shanghai and has an extensive gym and fitness suite. The views from the top extend all over Shanghai and there is as much to see and do as you would expect of a metropolis that size.
