Heritage Line
Ylang ShipThe luxurious Ylang ship with unique masts by Heritage Line cruises features plush cabins, authentic Vietnamese handcrafted furniture and decorations, and a luxury spa.
The Ylang is the newest premium addition to the cruises in Lan Ha Bay. It had its maiden voyage in the summer of 2019 and is ready to amaze you!
Vietnam's natural wonder and objectively one of the most stunning places on Earth is Halong Bay, an archipelago of 1,969 limestone islands, each with dense vegetation on top. In 1994, Halong Bay was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and quickly became Vietnam's most popular tourist destination.
Lan Ha Bay
Lan Ha Bay is also in the Gulf of Tonkin, just south of Halong Bay. If you haven't heard about it before, it's time to look it up! It's one of the most beautiful bays in Vietnam, spread over an area of 7,000 hectares, and is home to over 400 islands and islets.
The ship has three iconic masts
Lan Ha Bay is famous for its distinctive biodiversity, secret coves, limestone caverns, and secluded shorelines.
One of its highlights is Monkey Island, which—as you have already guessed—is full of monkeys, has a pretty beach, and if you hike to its top, you get an incredible view of the surrounding islands.
The Heritage Line Ylang sailing ship offers 3-day, 2-night cruises on the most untouched parts of Lan Ha Bay, taking you off the beaten path to some of the least crowded places. Knowing how many boats can pile up in certain parts of Halong Bay, this is a fantastic thing!
Bar & restaurant
The Ylang's Bar is a cozy spot to enjoy a relaxing afternoon or unwind after a busy day with incredible views of the bay.
The restaurant features a hardwood-paneled ceiling with colonial-style fans, artistic carvings on the walls, and dark wood and rattan furniture that evoke the Indochina era.
Signature Suite
There are only ten rooms on board the spacious Ylang ship, which means much more space, privacy, and a personalized experience touring Vietnam's natural wonderland.
The rooms are much bigger than you would expect, with plenty of seating areas and huge bathrooms.
The ship's interior was designed in an Asian style with French colonial accents.
Regency Suite - Grace Orchid
It features dark wooden floors and great attention to detail in the rooms.
Each of the ten cabins is equipped with large panoramic windows, a separate living area, and a private balcony.
Regency Suite - Pure Lotus
Each suite's design is dedicated to a specific flower, and it is equipped with the latest technology and hand-made paintings.
On the main deck, there are 6 Signature Suites (40 m² | 431 ft2), and on the upper deck, there are 2 Regency Suites ("Grace Orchid" and "Pure Lotus - 53 m² | 581 ft2), as well as 2 extravagant suites named "Glory Daisy" and "Royal Bamboo." (51 m2 | 549 ft2).

Of course, you can switch all this with a bottle of Champagne if you like!
Some of the most fun activities include paddling a kayak between the impressive karst rock formations, hiking through Cat Ba National Park, and biking around Cat Bay Island while visiting local villages and trying the famous rice wine.
If you desire to discover the depths of Lan Ha Bay through snorkeling and diving, you will find an abundance of marine life and vibrant corals.
Admire the surreal seascape from the deck or balcony of your suite as your boat moves deeper and deeper into the labyrinth of Lan Ha Bay.
