Grand Park Hotel offers a beautiful view of St. Catherine Island and Rovinj's old town, including the baroque church of St. Euphemia on one side and a century-old park forest on the other.
The Grand Park Hotel Rovinj was opened in 2019 and has become one of the most fashionable luxury hotels on the Adriatic coast. It was designed in collaboration with the Zagreb-based studio 3LHD and the Milanese studio Lissoni Architecture, which was responsible for the interior decoration.
The Grand Park Hotel was designed to resemble a terraced garden. It is carefully adapted to the sloping terrain, topped with a green roof spanning 10,000 square meters to fit into the existing forest as seamlessly as possible.
The cascading structure is filled with Mediterranean gardens, pools, and sunbathing areas.
The "greenness" doesn't stop there. The Grand Park Hotel emphasizes the natural theme, with more than 33,000 indigenous Mediterranean species of plants and trees located inside and outside the hotel.
Even the floors are named after the indigenous trees: Pine Walk, Fir Walk, Cedar Walk, and Cypress Walk.
Viva Eufemia lobby bar
The hotel values fine cuisine, offering six restaurants and bars, including the signature Cap Aureo, which features vegetable-based dishes, and the Michelin-starred Agli Amici.
The Viva Eufemia lobby bar on the fifth floor offers the widest selection of champagne in Croatia.
Laurel & Berry restaurant
The Laurel and Berry restaurant on the fourth floor is open for lunch and dinner, serving local Istrian dishes.
Cap Aureo signature restaurant
The hotel's main restaurant, Cap Aureo, features an open kitchen and serves contemporary Croatian cuisine. As you wait for your food, you can enjoy a chef's table experience with live cooking.
The clientele includes people arriving at ACI Marina Rovinj on a yacht, so the food is correspondingly high standard.
During your stay, you can enjoy breakfast at the Laurel and Berry restaurant as well as access to the relaxing wellness zone and sauna at the Albaro Wellness & Spa—all included in the room price. Additionally, you are welcome to use all three swimming pools and the gym.
Grand Sea View Room
Spread across six floors, the hotel features 198 rooms and 11 suites with a sea view (except for a few mentioned later). Some of these rooms are as large as 175 square meters.
Rooms are divided into three categories: Premium, Deluxe, and Grand rooms. There are also five suite types: Hideaway Duplex Suite, Horizon Deluxe Suite, Island Deluxe Suite, Sunset Signature Suite, and Rovinj Signature Suite.
Hideaway Duplex Suite
Except for Premium Park View Room - as its name suggests - all the others have at least a partial view of the sea.
All rooms have spacious terraces with green gardens, while 53 even have hydromassage pools where you can watch glorious sunsets above the old city of Rovinj.
Every room is equipped with a Polaroid camera and a notebook. The idea is for you to go out and explore Rovinj and take photos and notes to make lasting memories.
Rovinj Signature Suite
The bathrooms in rooms and suites have a separate bathtub and shower, underfloor heating, and luxurious Molton Brown toiletries.
The real gem of Grand Park Hotel Rovinj is the impressive Àlbaro Spa & Wellness, which covers 3,800 square meters, making it the largest and most luxurious wellness center in Istria.
Saunas
It extends over two floors of the hotel, including an area with three outdoor pools (including an Olympic-size swimming pool) on top of the hotel.
It's a complete spa package with three saunas, two steam rooms with different temperatures and special aromatic programs, two smaller cold pools, and a shower area.
These are the types of saunas that you will find in the spa:
• Finnish sauna: 90 °C and 10 % humidity
