Upon arrival, you are greeted by the warm smiles of Jon and Mandy Giffin, the passionate creators of Forest Gully Farms. Their welcoming committee includes Jedi and Trooper, two friendly dogs whose wagging tails and enthusiastic barks set the tone for a joyful stay.

Jon and Mandy's vision for the farm is rooted in sustainable living and a deep connection to the land, which is evident in every corner of this magical retreat.

Forest Gully Farms is open year-round, delivering a different experience with each passing season. In the summer, you can enjoy fresh fruits and vibrant greenery, while the fall brings golden leaves and crisp air. Winter transforms the farm into a snowy wonderland, perfect for cozying up by the fire with a good book.
The Hobbit Huts

The heart hub of Forest Gully Farms is its three enchanting hobbit-style huts, or "Gully Huts," which are constructed into the hillsides and surrounded by lush greenery.

These cozy abodes are crafted from white cedar, naturally insulated by the earth, and feature bamboo flooring that adds a touch of elegance to their rustic charm.

The huts stay cool year-round, providing a comfortable sanctuary for up to eight guests.

Inside, the huts are fitted with old burlap coffee bags as curtains and colorful quilted blankets that add a homey touch.

The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking ingredients, utensils, and a coffee maker, allowing guests to prepare meals using fresh produce from the farm.

The farm offers a unique blend of adventure and relaxation, with hiking trails, waterfalls, and hammocks scattered throughout the property.

Forest Gully Farms is a living laboratory for alternative farming methods on a land of 30 acres (of which 15 are for the guests). Jon and Mandy have cultivated a diverse ecosystem that thrives on permaculture and food forestry principles. The farm is home to a variety of native plants, herbs, and animals, all living in harmony to create a self-sustaining environment.
The property is abundant with fruits, vegetables, and herbs, including pawpaw trees, persimmons, mulberries, and magnolias. You are encouraged to explore the edible landscape and learn about the benefits of native plants.
The farm also houses two beehives, a chicken coop with friendly hens, and a waterfall that adds a serene touch to the already idyllic setting.
