FloatingHostel

This hostel rocks, literally. Arkabarka (is that not the most fun name to say?) is a boat hostel in Belgrade, Serbia, at the river Danube. This contemporary wooden building is situated in one of the most beautiful central parks of Belgrade.

Though it’s a hostel, there are definitely options for more private spaces. Guests can choose whether they want to stay in a dorm room or prefer the privacy of double/ twin /triple private rooms with private bathrooms. All prices include breakfast too! Most rooms have large windows that flood rooms with tons of natural light. Many also have colorful walls, which offer a nice contrast to the natural wood floors of Arkabarka.

Ideal for backpackers and nature lovers, Arkabarka is just a two-minute walk from the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Palace of Serbia and a 20-minute walk from Belgrade’s city center. Guests can enjoy artistic events, music nights, and parties at this lively hostel.

Riverfront views for cheap hostel prices? Check! Don’t pass up this rare opportunity if you ever find yourself in Serbia.
