El Faro Beach Hotel - Costa Rican Hotel Built From Shipping Containers

Location:

Quepos Costa Rica Central America
BeachEco-Friendly

The El Faro Beach Hotel is just a short walk from the Pacific Ocean and right at the entrance of the National Park if you are in the mood for a hike in the dense nature. The hotel was built from blocks of sea containers. The construction time using these large blocks of shipping containers was reduced by a third and more notably they decreased the concrete and water usage by 60%. That's what I call eco-friendly! Recycling used containers while saving with materials and water. There are even electric golf carts available for trips.

Your balcony comes with splendid views on the Ocean, the Manuel Antonio National Park, the Playa Espadilla. and the pool below. Even better views are from the rooftop terrace to enjoy the gorgeous Costa Rican sunsets.
