Desert Whisper - All Alone In The Namib Desert

Location:

Solitaire Namibia Africa
DesertRemote

This intimate desert getaway was designed for those that want more privacy than you can find in a boutique lodge. Desert Whisper is a remote capsule made for two. The rounded metal frame encompassing the inner wooden construction seamlessly blends in with the natural environment.

Your living space is fully open to the wilderness that lies ahead. So whether you stay in your bed, get a coffee on the terrace or read a book in one of the two hanging chairs, you'll have the same spectacular view. There is a fully equipped kitchen, where your hosts will deliver pre-arranged food with your specific dietary requirements. The bathroom is fitted with a glass shower cubicle, so you should come along with your romantic partner instead of a friend. The terrace is connected with a wooden footpath leading down to the plunge pool, where you'll find sun loungers, a sofa, and a portable fire pit — another perfect spot to spend endless hours enjoying the desert vista this unique hideaway.

It's doubtful you can get bored at Desert Whisper, but you can't, so no to the surrounding adventures either. There is a guided drive through the Gondwana Namib Park to discover the wilderness of the Namib Desert. If you'd prefer to remain alone, you can opt to rent an e-bike, and your hosts will provide you with a trail map that can lead you to the distant Naukluft Mountains.
