The Tree House is part of the Castle Cottage B&B - a Strawberry Hill gothic mansion surrounded by rich woodland and dainty gardens set in rural West Sussex, England. The Tree House is actually built into a proud chestnut tree with thick branches that snake through the bedroom, traveling through the floor to the level below.
The accommodation merges beautifully with its woodland environment, situated as it is above the sweet banks of a little pond. Rustic this is not as the windows are double glazed and the walls are paneled and well insulated. On the balcony, there are swing chairs. There you will discover that sitting in a swing seat in summer is probably one of the most underrated ways to spend an afternoon. You will have an en suite shower and delicious cotton sheets in your themed bed which makes for a unique and fun experience.
For fun, you can visit the famous Goodwood Racecourse, take a tipsy ride on the “champagne balloon” or visit some stunning local period properties and museums.
