Canyon Ranch Lenox is a destination spa resort in The Berkshires in Massachusetts. It consists of an inn, an enormous Spa Complex, and the Bellefontaine Mansion – a private residence built in 1897.
It has seen action as a seminary and boarding school before reopening as today’s health resort in 1989. The restoration took great pains to restore the building to its former glamour, and you can see from these pictures it has been a great success.

The three buildings that make up the resort are connected, so you do not have to keep taking your coat on and off during winter.

Canyon Ranch in Lenox is a hotel & spa where people go on a retreat. Therefore no alcohol is served in the restaurant.

Your room is traditionally luxurious, homely, and dignified. It includes a large TV DVD, tea and coffee maker, and music player, and you can also access the wonderfully restored Bellefontaine Library.

You can access 120 acres of grounds when staying at this grand mansion. In the summer you can go hiking and biking, and in the winter you can go snowshoeing and skiing.

You can take dance, Pilates, tai chi, or cooking class. You can even have a consultation with the American shamans from “The Power of Possibility.”
