The hostel offers a variety of sleeping arrangements including vintage caravans, Airstreams, night sleeper train cars, Volkswagen transporters, and even a tent on top of a Trabant. Each accommodation features its own theme and décor specific to the era. The caravan themes include Britain, Pinkalicious, the 60s, a houseboat, a hunting lodge, the Nautilus, the speedway, 50s rockabilly, African safari, a space shuttle, air travel, a tour bus, and totally Zen to name a few. Accommodations on the sleeping car are the most economic option, but there is also a caravan large enough to sleep four families.
The rates include breakfast, linens, and access to all the public spaces. All guests can use the kitchen facilities and BBQ pits, food and beverage is also available on site. The food van and beer garden are a great place to meet other guests and unwind after a long day. Base Camp-Bonn just might be the coolest or the weirdest hostel in Bonn, but no matter how you look at it, your stay is sure to be memorable.
