John and Cynthia Hardy came up with the idea to create a nostalgic and unique Balinese hotel experience in 2005.
The eleven available suites are antique Javanese bridal homes that were restored and modernized in Bali.
The Bambu Indah offers magnificent panoramic views of traditional Balinese rice paddies in the valley.

The hotel also offers spa treatments, local experiences, outdoor activities, and one of the most idyllic natural swimming pools in the area.

The hotel’s Dapoer Restaurant offers organic Balinese and traditional Indonesian home-cooking as well as fresh and healthy meals, with vegetables hand-picked from their own organic garden.

Vegans always have at least an option from the menu that changes daily according to the harvest and the cook’s inspiration.

The thirteen rooms that comprise Bambu Indah are tastefully decorated and equipped with air conditioning for your comfort.

The walls are a magnificent blend of bamboo and antique Javanese teak.
