The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah - 5-Star Arabic Heritage

Location:

Sharjah United Arab Emirates Middle East
LuxuryTraditional

Sharjah has a new surprise within Emirate’s largest historical preservation project. The most luxurious new hotel in UAE is The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah Resort. Several historic manor houses have been converted into a 5-star luxury resort with 53 rooms and unparalleled hospitality. As part of the project, Souq Al Arsah, a traditional open-air marketplace, has been transformed into a pedestrian thoroughfare within the resort. Spread over 10,000 square meters, Al Bait has two restaurants and a café to choose from, and an extensive spa and wellness area.

The Arabic Restaurant serves Levantine gourmet dishes, whereas The Restaurant has international food on offer. The Café treats guests with pastries, tea, and coffee, and there is The Ice Cream Shop with homemade ice creams and sorbets.

Sharjah is the only Emirate with the Persian Gulf on the west coast and the Gulf of Oman on the east. It's only a 20-minute ride away from the most famous Emirate, Dubai. The Chedi Al Bait is located in the Heart of Sharjah, overlooking the creek with preserved and restored traditional buildings right in the city center.

Auberge Aux 4 Vents - The Swiss Hotel Where You Can Take a Bath Outdoors - From the Second Floor

Between Fribourg's medieval rooftops and a park full of century-old beeches, a renovated 17th-century manor is doing something quietly remarkable. Auberge aux 4 Vents is not a boutique hotel in the algorithmic sense - all reclaimed wood and oat milk. It is something older and stranger: a patrician country manor …

Domaine des Etangs, Auberge Collection - Deep in the Charente, a Medieval Castle Reinvents Itself

Somewhere in the Charente countryside of southwest France, on a 1,000-hectare (2,500-acre) estate of forests, lakes, and open pastureland, there is a tennis court floating on a pond. There is also a 13th-century castle tower where you can sleep beneath a glass ceiling and look up at the stone ribs …

Hana-Maui Resort, a Destination by Hyatt Residence - The Far Side of Maui

Most resorts want you to stay on property. Hana-Maui Resort wants you to stay in a different way entirely - unhurried, untethered, and largely offline. Rooms here have no televisions, no alarm clocks, and in some cases no radios. The spa uses heated lava rocks and Hawaiian healing traditions that …

Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve - Stars, and Shells at Saudi Arabia's Most Remote Resort

Before you even unpack, two things will stop you in your tracks: the color of the water - a cerulean so intense it looks digitally enhanced - and the absolute quiet. Just the warm Red Sea breeze and the low hum of a place that has been deliberately designed to …

Hotel Maměnka - A Fairytale Mountain Lodge That Burned Down – and Rose from the Ashes

Libušín sits on a mountain pass in the Czech Republic's Moravian-Silesian Beskids, looking like something out of a Brothers Grimm tale. This isn't some modern Alpine resort masquerading as traditional – it's the real deal, a wooden lodge dripping with hand-carved details and Art Nouveau flourishes that somehow manages to …

Kato Dool Wellness Resort - A Technicolor Refuge on the Nile

Some places whisper, and some shout. Kato Dool does something in between – it hums. Sprawled across a hillside in Aswan's Nubian village of Gharb Soheil, this wellness resort is painted in shades that could make a sunset jealous: turmeric yellows, coral pinks, sky blues. It's the kind of place …

SAKE Bar Hotel ASAKUSA - Why This Tokyo Hotel Gives You a Masu at Check-In

In Tokyo's historic Asakusa district, where centuries-old temples meet modern tourist crowds, a new hotel is making check-in considerably more interesting. Rancho de los Caballeros - A Desert Ranch Where Cowboys Still Roam Free

In the high Sonoran Desert of Arizona, where saguaro cacti stand like ancient sentinels and the Bradshaw Mountains paint purple shadows across endless sky, there's a place that makes good on the promise of the American West without the usual tourist-trap nonsense. Rancho de los Caballeros, sprawling across 20,000 acres …
