Ella Sri Lanka South Asia
LuxuryMountainNature

Set in Sri Lanka’s beautiful hill country, this boutique resort is elegant and chic. Built on a 98-acre tea estate, this uniquely designed resort blends well with nature and is home to charming chalets made mostly of recyclable substances. Discarded railway sleepers make up the decks and walls of the resort, while the flooring uses rough, hewn granite.

Standard rooms at the resort are bright, with modern amenities and stunning views of the Ella Gap. The bathrooms are finished in rubble stone and include a separate traditional stone shower to enjoy. Dining is an experience of its own at 98 Acres - Restaurant 98 is elegantly designed and built on a small hill, hillock overlooking scenery that will leave you breathless. Dishes include delicious cuisines like Sri Lankan, Continental, and Far Eastern.

For adventure seekers, there is plenty to do at 98 Acres. Little Adam’s Peak is a famous spot for hiking, while the surrounding countryside is perfect for picturesque walks or cycling adventures. There are also plenty of tea gardens and factories, waterfalls, and ancient temples to explore during your visit.
