Singapore Singapore Southeast Asia
LuxurySkyscraperSpa

You won't want to go off the deep end of Marina Bay Sands' infinity pool – it is 57 stories up. This is just one of the hundreds of features guests of the world's most expensive hotel can enjoy. Yes, it cost a cool $6.2 billion to build.

The infinity pool is located on Sands SkyPark, where you can eat, swim and relax, enjoying views of Singapore. The Sands SkyPark lies on top of the three hotel towers at Marina Bay Sands.

The SkyPark has the world's longest elevated swimming pool. It's 146 meters long and sits 191 meters above the ground. You can ride through the shopping mall on an indoor canal in Sampan boats styled on traditional Chinese vessels.

You will be amazed when you see some of the enormous sculptures by famous artists, including a 40m-long Antony Gormley sculpture made from 16,100 steel rods.

Everything you could wish for is available, from an elegant casino to ArtScience Museum. In addition, not one but several of the best chefs in the world are ready to serve you food from every tradition.

What is unusual about a hotel is that it has its own theater where you can see famous shows from Broadway. In addition, the award-winning Banyan Tree Spa offers unique treatments that fulfill your need to relax.

Marina Bay Sands room with view

All rooms and suites have king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. In addition, each room and suite has large panoramic windows where your view depends on how much you paid.

When you book a room at the Marina Bay Sands, you can choose between a view of the garden or the city. The city view rooms overlook Marina Bay and downtown Singapore with all the skyscrapers. The garden view rooms have a panorama over the verdant Gardens by the Bay and the sea.

If it is not stated what kind of view it is, you will stay on a lower floor without anything nice to look at. You always pay a little bit more for a room with a view.

Both views are spectacular, but a room with a panorama of the city is the best choice, mainly because the sun sets on this side.

Each bar and restaurant is unique in atmosphere and ambiance, design and location with a view: there is something for everyone's taste.

And last but not least, the super-long infinity pool, where the water spills over the edge and offers a breathtaking view of Singapore.
